After months of training, science teacher Michael Armstrong will compete in the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii on Friday.
The Ironman Triathlon competition consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bicycle ride and a 26.22 mile run. The events are raced in that order without a break between events. The athletes usually have between 15-17 hours to complete the events. The competition is one of the physically hardest competitions in the world.

The competition will start at around noon central time. Tune in and show Armstrong support.
