Dress up days and fun await Sandies next week as the school kicks off its traditional Howdy week. Each day is a different dress up day that allows the students to express themselves. The more people who participate, the more fun the week is.
Howdy week started in the 1940s as a way for the students to meet each other and to break down the first week of school jitters and walls. It started with picnics on the lawn and increased to include dress up days and other activities.
