With spring’s arrival, fresh treats are in demand to welcome in the warm weather. Here is a list of different treats to satisfy that craving.

Lemon White Chocolate Cake Cookies
Ingredients:
1 boxed lemon cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup flour
1 egg
1 cup white chocolate chips
Note: Cookies should be soft and cakey
Instructions:
Add the egg, flour, water and oil into a large bowl and whisk together. Then add cake mix to the bowl in small increments until the ingredients combine into a soft dough. After forming the dough, fold in the white chocolate chips. Using a tablespoon or small cookie scooper, scoop the batter and form it into a ball, then place it on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Place into the oven and bake at 350 F for 8-10 minutes.

Strawberry Pound Cake
Ingredients:
Cake-
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 ½ teaspoons almond extract
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup diced strawberries
Glaze-
½ cup smashed strawberries
2 cups powdered sugar
Note: To assist in smashing the strawberries use a food processor or blender.
Cake Instructions:
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, salt and baking powder. Then combine the Greek yogurt, eggs, sugar, oil and extract in a separate bowl. Slowly add this mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until fully incorporated. Lastly, fold in the diced strawberries, add to a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 F for 50 minutes.
Glaze Instructions:
In a medium size bowl combine the powdered sugar and smashed strawberries. Then once the cake has cooled, pour over the top and let it set.

Flower Pretzel Bites
Ingredients:
1 bag waffle-pretzels
1 bag spring pastel M&Ms
1 (7 ounces) white chocolate melting wafer
Instructions:
On a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, lay out a small layer of pretzels. Then place one melting wafer on each pretzel and place in the oven at 250 F for 2-3 minutes. Arrange the M&Ms in flower shapes on top of the covered pretzel and let harden.
