From posters, to flowers, to candy or stuffed animals, unique homecoming proposals have made their appearance on campus once again. With the Homecoming game less than a week away, the craze has officially hit its peak as people throughout the school say “yes!” to their dates.
Caylee Morris and Ethan Silva
“The hoco proposal itself was personal to me cause I’ve never been asked to hoco, and I’m not afraid to admit that,” Caylee Morris said. “I’ve never had a homecoming date so the fact that I got a whole poster and flowers and everything was really cool and I was super excited. Teenage girls dream, you know?”
Sloan Richardson and Noah Cooper
“He showed up on my front porch with a poster and a bag of candy and asked me and then went home,” Sloan Richardson said. “We have been friends since we were little and our families are very good friends so it was cool that we’ve known each other for so long.”
Abigail Mcmillan and Bishop Stevens
“The poster theme was “Sublime” and I am Sublime’s biggest fan and he knows that,” Abigail Mcmillan said. “I’m always talking about how much I love their music so he wanted to do something that’s my favorite, and he also likes it too, so it’s just something that we bond over.”
Piper Laur and James (Tres) Norris
“He made me a poster that said ‘Make my knees turn to jelly and go to hoco with me?’ and that’s important to us because I really like Jellycats and he gave me a Jellycat with it and my favorite flowers and it was really personal because I’ve always liked those,” Piper Laur said.
Homecoming proposals pop up left and right as the big game draws nearer and nearer. Get those posters made and flowers bought before it is too late!
