Discounted food and drinks always have a great way to make your day better while you eat lunch with friends during a long day at school. Many places around Amarillo offer student discounts such as Chop-Chop, Tropical Smoothie on Soncy Road and Chick-Fil-A.

Chop-Chop offers a discount that halves the price of regular fried rice. Normally without a discount, their food prices at $12- $14 depending on if any extra food is added in. With the discount, the meal costs around $6 and comes with a drink; making it cheaper than it would normally range. Chop-Chop usually has students show their student IDs but normally most do not have to.

The Tropical Smoothie on Soncy now offers a 20% student discount. To get the discount, students have to show their student IDs. Most smoothies range from $7- $8 but with the discount, a student can expect a smoothie priced at around $5. Tropical also has food that greets your taste buds with a warm hug. While Tropical Smoothie has relatively expensive food and drinks, the quality of both food and drink always come out fresh and always to your liking.

Lastly, Chick-Fil-A offers a discount of a free drink with purchase. Show your student ID and they will hand you a drink of your choosing. While the price of the meal would not change.

When getting student discounts remember most places need a student ID, so if you are in need of one, request one from the office. Now, go out to your favorite places and save that money students so desperately need.
